SPIT SYNDICATE – Saturday 28th September

2013 has been a massive year for Sydney hip hop duo Spit Syndicate. Nick Lupi and Jimmy Nice released their third LP ‘Sunday Gentlemen’ in February, which debuted at no. 15 on the ARIA chart and featured the singles ‘Beauty in the Bricks’ and radio favourite ‘Folly’. The album also spawned the  ‘Sunday Gentlemen’ tour with Jackie Onassis, which rampaged its way around the country over two months, selling out Sydney, Melbourne, Newcastle and Perth. Spit Syndicate recently appeared on Triple J’s Like A Version segment, and were announced in the first lineup of acts for Australia’s preeminent music conference, BigSound.

With third single ‘Amazing’ getting added to full rotation on triple j and a killer video clip soon to follow, the Double S will be embarking on their biggest tour yet. Taking its name from a lyrics in ‘Amazing’, the ‘Money over Bullshit’ Tour will see the group take their explosive live show all over Australia, including several regional and all-ages dates.

Supporting on the ‘Money Over Bullshit Tour’ will be Spit Syndicate’s DJ/life-coach, Joyride. DJing for Spit Syndicate is but one feather in Joyride’s illustrious (and very big) cap. An immensely talented singer, songwriter and producer, who has been working on his own solo material in between his plethora of show-stealing guest appearances and Twitter obsession, Joyride has recently released a free EP called Chivalrous, which includes lead single ‘Removalist’ featuring Drapht.
