Geelong’s OLLY FRIEND have been busy cracking the top 10 of the Triple J Unearthed Charts with Shoulders in mid 2014 and Releasing their second EP earlier this year with a debut Australian Tour in ‘as we grow older’ the sky is the limit.

Forming their stagecraft busking on Melbournes famous Bourke Street Mall the boys have truly found a sound they can call their own. Vigorously playing shows in Melbourne and Geelong throughout 2014 supporting the likes of The Kin(NYC), Pierce Brothers, Woodlock and even local boys Residual, Quickly building a loyal fan base.

Joseph van der Hurk is a Dunedin born singer song writer and guitar player currently touring New Zealand and recording his first solo album while travelling.

Described as “A guitarist of the upmost fluency” he delivers melancholic, delicate picking and hearty strumming seamlessly with equal generosity, accompanied by a voice MusicNation appraised as “distinctively Unique” with ‘tone similar to that of English singer- songwriters Jake Bugg & King Charles.”
